Watchet and Williton Voluntary Car Scheme provided by residents for residents of Watchet, Williton, Washford and Old Cleeve.  WHEELS is a non-profit making social car scheme that has been set up by volunteers in response to the expressed needs of the community.

Wheels will be as flexible as possible but cannot cover every transport need. WHEELS is supported by Somerset County Council, West Somerset District Council, Williton Parish Council and Watchet Town Council. It is a member of the West Somerset Car Schemes Partnership and is affiliate to Engage in Minehead.

WHAT JOURNEYS ARE ELIGIBLE?

Hospital and clinic visits which no transport is provided by other services.

Health related trips, e.g. to the doctor, dentist, optician, chiropodist or exercise class.

Shopping, banking and journeys to Taunton railway or bus station.

Visiting relatives and friends especially the sick.
